Ayurvedic Approaches to Nourishing Yourself with Oils

Ayurveda is the “the science of everyday living”. Ayurvedic Medicine teaches the importance of simple daily practices to align with nature’s rhythms and enhance health and vitality. The use of healthy, nourishing oils both internally and topically is among these important daily practices. You may already be familiar with the ancient and modern day recommendations to include healthy oils in your diet. This class will introduce you to the MANY topical uses of oils like Sesame, Sweet Almond, Coconut and others, and the remarkable physical, emotional and mental benefits. The type of oil best for you is determined by your Ayurvedic constitution and the season. This class will start with a short quiz to determine your constitution and discuss the many ways oils can aid in hydrating, grounding, detoxifying, lubricating, and nourishing your body.
