One of the great superpowers we all share as humans is the power of self-reflection.
You have many other innate strengths.
I love seeing and identifying these in others. I feel pretty confident I could identify a few of yours within 15 minutes of talking with you.
You were born with a handful of innate skills and strengths, whether you acknowledge them or not. It might be your knack for creating powerful experiences for others with food, aesthetics, ambiance, or maybe making others feel heard or a special gift of synthesizing complex information into relatable talking points.
Other skills are sometimes learned and practiced over time. Like maybe speaking in front of a group, making eye contact while discussing difficult emotions or writing skills. Those might be innate to one person and a learned skillset for someone else.
We are all so different. YAY for that!
The power of self-reflection is one of those innate gifts of being human. Simultaneously it’s one we don’t always use, remember is available to us or maybe we aren’t quite sure how to access it.
The thing is, many of us simply don’t know this is one of superpowers.
It takes a slowing down, tuning in and listening on a deep level. Which for some of us takes effort in our fast-paced lives.
But when we do, it is oh so worth it.
Big love your way,
